Ninety percent of kids ages 8 to 16 have viewed porn on the Internet,
a shocking new study has revealed.
Researchers from the London School of Economics also discovered
that about half had spoken to strangers in Internet chat rooms.
Chillingly, in most of the cases, the sex sites were accessed
unintentionally when a youngster searched the 'Net using seemingly
innocent words.
One disturbing example involved an 11-year-old girl who stumbled
into a graphic porn site while trying to find photographs of
Adolf Hitler for a school project.
In another case, two brothers, ages 10 and 12, found explicit
gay porn instead of the pictures of the pop group Boyzone.
Psychology Professor Sonia Livingstone, who conducted the research,
told London's Sunday Telegraph:
"From my research, 90 percent of children had seen pornographic
content." Post Wire Service
